The fall colors were on fire that cold morning. A gust of wind blew my painting right into the river, followed by my easel! I actually think the river water improved my painting.

In winter the morning sun reminds me of liquid gold as well as the contents of the sap buckets.

When I started I was primarily interested in the river but while in the process the logging truck parked itself right into the painting!
